In this painting, I wanted to show that life is rarely smooth. The rough textures represent challenges, uncertainty, and the many layers of experience we all carry. I chose rich metallic tones to remind us that even our struggles contribute to the richness of our journey.

The calm face of the Buddha sits quietly within it all, unchanged by what surrounds it. This is my reminder to myself—and to you—that peace is always a choice.
